Central California Child Development Services, Inc. (CCCDS) is a private non-profit organization that has been providing child development services since 1984 and provides services to qualifying families who live in Stanislaus, San Joaquin, or Merced Counties. CCCDS provides comprehensive child development services for children from 6 weeks through 5 years of age. 

Children attending CCCDS programs are taught in a prepared environment addressing each child’s individual needs through goals and curriculum that teach young children to use their environment productively and see themselves as capable learners; as individuals who are developing the skills and understandings that will enable them to make sense of the world and succeed in it. The environment, activities and interactions are rooted in our understanding of developmentally appropriate practice, and knowledge of each child.

CCCDS is a delegate/sub-contractor agency of the Stanislaus County Office of Education and receives state, federal and local funding to serve families in need of child development services. We also participate in the Child Care Food Program (CCFP).

All CCCDS employees meet the necessary education and experience requirements as required by the state and funding sources.  They are also required to have a physical exam, TB test and are fingerprinted for criminal clearance prior beginning employment. 

There is a board of elected directors and a policy committee of elected parents that serve as the governing body for the agency.

All centers are licensed by the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing.

Central California Child Development Services, Inc. is committed to providing high quality childcare, in partnership with families. Parents and staff work together to provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment that promotes development toward each child’s fullest potential.  We also support parents to achieve their family’s goals.

Child development is a complex, continuous process involving both natural characteristics and environmental influences. Children progress in predictable steps, achieving successively higher and more complex levels of development. Children share certain characteristics, but each child is also unique. Children thrive in the combined influences of caring adults, and a consistent, predictable environment.

Our program philosophy, goals, and objectives address all aspects of child development, including their social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical needs. Every day we offer children opportunities to solve problems, explore new ideas, practice new skills, and discover answers to questions.
